Pilates & Physical Therapy for EDS & Hypermobility

coolidge corner, boston, ma

We bridge movement, medicine and mindset to bring holistic, life-changing care to the hypermobile community.

Our highly siloed medical system often falls short when it comes to those with chronic, invisible conditions. So much of its humanity has been lost to speed and efficiency for insurance companies and for hospital bottom lines.

MotionMindFlow is our answer to this gap in care, a space where holistic wellbeing and sustainable change is possible for those with hypermobility.

Founded by Dr. Dana Arie and Cecily Wardell, we bring a combined 30 years in Medical Physical Therapy, Pilates, and Health & Wellness Coaching, as well as the personal experience of living - and thriving - with EDS and hypermobility.

Your Body is not Broken.

It is wise, adaptable, and still deserving of joy, strength, and expression. Healing doesn't mean returning to some mythical version of “before.” It means learning to listen deeply, move gently, and root into safety—on your terms.

You can build a new relationship with movement that is loving, that welcomes the breath, honors pacing, and celebrates subtle progress. You can flow without forcing. You can rest and still be growing. You can move and still feel safe. You can become stronger and move through the world with a little more joy. We are honored to be on this healing journey with you.

INTRODUCING

The MotionMindFlow Podcast

The MotionMindFlow Podcast is a space for practical conversations about living with and supporting people with hypermobility, EDS, and chronic illness.

Hosted by Dr. Dana Arie, a physical therapist and movement specialist, and Cecily Wardell Rosen, a senior pilates instructor and health and wellness coach living with hEDS, the podcast brings professional expertise and lived experience together to explore the questions that often go unanswered.

Through conversations with one another, patient stories, and insights from clinicians and other experts, Dana and Cecily help listeners better understand their bodies, navigate the healthcare system, and build the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices about their health, even in a world that doesn’t always feel designed to support them.

A Message From Cecily

You deserve to live without pain. We are honored to be on this journey with you as you learn how to feel better and move better in your hypermobile body.
